Fashion Projects I have Created

I have made a few clothes that have been fashion projects for classes but I also have made a few clothes on my own. They are not designer type clothing that is perfected and ready to sell in stores. I do need a little bit more work and practice before I will ever become a designer however, I do view them as some of my greatest accomplishments because if some of you have sewn before, sewing is no joke; it takes a lot of time, effort, patience, and creativity to sew a garment.
I have attached 3 pictures under this blog to show you what all I have created; the skirt was the very first thing I have ever made, it does have an invisible zipper in the back as well as a hook and eye closure. I love wearing this skirt with a crop top and some black booties during the fall, or even a body suit with cutesy sandals during the summer. The next picture is the second item I made, I chose plaid which made it a little bit harder on myself since I had to learn how to match the fabric up so the garment did not look sloppy and all over the place with lines going every which direction. The collared button up shirt was very fun to make, and I love wearing this shirt with a nice T-shirt dress, I like to tie this button up shirt around my waist to give the T-shirt dress a little more glamour to the outfit. I wear this outfit in the fall only and pair it with tan booties. The third item that I have created is workout leggings which I love but I am so sad that the fabric is extremely see-through. These leggings are very comfortable, they stretch and it has an elastic band around the waist to help with movement. I only wear these leggings at home when I am doing some quick workouts when I am bored but I would love to wear these outside running earrings, at the gym, or just going to class.
These are just a few of the items that I have made over my years, and I am so proud of my work since these are the first 3 things I have ever sewn. You will have to stick around and wait to see what else I will be able to make as I get older and years go on.
